Community Radio
M.S. Panwar Institute of Communication and Management, Solan, is a pioneer in the field of Community Radio- being the first institution in Himachal Pradesh to get a licence for Community FM Radio. Through this initiative, MSPICM seeks to serve the community residing in a radius of 15kms from the institute. It would also help in grooming professionals in broadcast journalism. The students of the institute would get hands-on experience in script writing, reporting and editing for radio. They would thus be exposed to the real experience of working in radio studios/stations.

Audio / Video Lab
The Audio Video Lab allows students the facilities of Editing via software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Edius Canopus and Sound Editing software like Adobe Audition and Nuendo 3.
Students willing to make use of the lab are allowed to do so during college hours.

Computers Lab
The Institute has state-of-the-art computer laboratories with latest computers and computing facilities. E-mail, Broadband Internet LAN and multimedia facilities are provided in the Computer Lab. Students of different Courses are trained in QuarkXpress, Abode Photoshop, Pagemaker etc. by well-trained and experienced faculty members.

Photography Lab
The institute boasts of the latest equipments required in Photography. Complete with Digital and SLR Cameras, along with other lighting accessories, the Photography lab promises excellent facilities to an aspiring Photographer. The Dark Room, intended for developing pictures, is instrumental in teaching students the art of picture composition and developing.
Well Organised Library
The institute has a well-organised Library and Information Centre. The library has a rich collection of books on mass media, culture, fiction, biographies, politics, economics, history, sociology etc. Apart from professional journals, prominent foreign, national and local newspapers, in Hindi and English, are subscribed for the library. Newspapers clippings and files on various subjects are special features of its documentation unit. Students can make use of these files and clippings in the library.
Students Activities And Clubs
The Institute encourages cultural and literary activities throughout the year for the all-round development of its students. Students Participate in debates, seminars and discussions organised by different faculties/groups. Adequate facilities of games and sports are available. The Institute provides an atmosphere of an extended family to promote academic excellence. The studentís activities are organised by four clubs, namely, Academic, Literary, Audiovisual and Performing Art Club.
